Many Christians feel that spiritual people should never feel depressed. But spiritual depression is a recurrent theme throughout the Scripture. We read heroes of faith had to deal with it. I can say that being downcast is not a sign of faithlessness, I would say that it's a part of being human.

Most of us were raised in the asphalt jungles of the city where people think more about cats and dogs than we do about sheep ... and if we really understand what it means to be a sheep in God’s flock, we will better be able to relate to each other, to our church, and to our LORD.

Everybody wants to be happy ... and mostly likely everybody wants to be rich too.
We know that there's a strong correlation between wealth and happiness. Rich nations tend to be a happier than poor nations, and rich people tend to be happier than poor people. The question then is can 'money' really buy happiness?

Creationists and evolutionists, Christians and non-Christians all have the same evidence—the same facts. Think about it: we all have the same earth, the same fossil layers, the same animals and plants, the same stars—the facts are all the same.
These two people are arguing about the same evidence, but they are looking at the evidence through different glasses -- different glasses of faith!

The prevailing concern now a days is that why is ‘sin’ no longer being talked about in the church? It appears that this topic is being avoided and that not a lot of churches would like to discuss it anymore...
I like what Scot McKnight, a Christian author, said about it, “To many, sin has fallen into grace. What does that mean? When we talk about God’s grace, we are assuming the reality of sin—that we are sinners and that God has forgiven us. But in our language today, sin is not only an assumption—it is an accepted assumption. And not only is it an accepted assumption—it also doesn’t seem to matter!”
It’s as if we’re saying, “Yes, of course we sin…” and then do nothing about it! And the widespread indifference toward sin can reveal itself in the lack of interest in holiness. In other words, are we now the generations of Christians who say, “I can do whatever I want because of God’s grace?” But not taken the time to consider and mourn over the very realistic consequences it has in our lives and its weakened impact to our relationships with GOD, people and the world.
“That in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.” - 2 Timothy 3:1-4

We know that all relationships take time.
And if we’re going to grow a healthy relationship with Jesus, we’re going to need to spend quality time with Him. It’s hard to love—let alone follow— someone you don’t even know!
“True Christian experience must always include a genuine encounter with GOD. Without this, religion is but a shadow, a reflection of reality, a cheap copy of an original. The spiritual giants of old were men who at some time became acutely conscious of the real Presence of GOD.” - A.W. Tozer, The Pursuit of Man
So we really need to have a serious and quality time with Him.

I suggest that you make a regular SPACE for GOD. Is is there a:
... Sin you need to confess?
... Prayers you need to say for you and others?
... Attitude you need to change?
... Commands you need to obey?
... Examples of Christ that you need to follow?
Psalm 62:8 "Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for GOD is our refuge."

Here are just suggestions. Keep them in mind when interacting with others at home, at work, in your meetings, in your phone calls, in your texting, and in any of your conversations:
1. JESUS loves you!
2. You’re right.
3. Please forgive me.
4. GOD is good.
5. I love you.
6. Praying for you.
7. Any time.
8. Thank you.
9. Grace is true.
10. You are important.
