Our setting is open and accepting, and our teaching emphasizes the application of the Bible to everyday situations in life. Our services feature contemporary music.  Messages are culturally relevant, challenging and potentially life-changing. We don’t want to waste your time. Simple enjoyment ...

Life as we all know it is busy and presents many demands. Sometimes it was a pleasure to just simply sit quietly and take in the warm sunshine morning. I watched the people around and wondering what their life pressures might be and why we all seem to load ourselves down with the daily “duties” of life.

Heard this secular song that says:
“I have climbed the highest mountains.
I have run through the fields.
I run, I have crawled, I have scaled city walls.
But I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.”

I think that song can describe our culture today. How many people are searching, running, scaling, looking for something but not finding it. Everything around us teaches us to believe in the accumulation of things.

We run after these things and stop pursuing GOD.

Unfortunately, the constant desire for more can make us unfulfilled and depressed. As a result …

The pleasure of what we enjoy is lost by wanting more.
