Second Annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods

Jesus Rocks the Redwoods would like to extend a warm THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored, attended, volunteered, encouraged, or prayed for the first annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods! A big thank you goes to our gifted artists Jordan Hornsby, Zion, Legion of Faith, Jacob Thomas Band, Past Habit, Sound Doctrine Band, Suede Perez, and Intersection! Thank you also to our amazing speaker Pastor Kevin Webb. This group of talented people who traveled sometimes many miles to minister to the area I call home were an incredible blessing! Thank you to our sponsors who allowed this ministry event to remain free to attendees; my heart was in keeping it free and you made this a reality. Thank you to the many local churches who saw the need and sponsored this ministry. Thank you to my pastor who believed in the mission and advised, encouraged, and prayed for me and this ministry! You were a true blessing! Thank you to the hard working vendors and tireless dedicated volunteers that made the event operate smoothly. Most of all a special thank you with much gratitude goes to God for the lessons learned and for making the first annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods such a success! Without His blessing this event would not have taken place.

for visiting our site! Our first Annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods was a great success. We are excited to announce the 2^nd Annual Jesus Rocks the Redwoods Saturday July 23 2011!

It will be held at beautiful Benbow Lake State Recreation Area. This is a ministry event for the community of Southern Humboldt County. Come worship with us and bring a friend! There is no entrance fee!

Southern Humboldt is a gorgeous rural area encompassing scenic coastal mountains, picturesque river valleys, beautiful Redwood State Parks, and the expansive Pacific Coast . The area is nestled between Trinity County on the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west, and Redcrest in the north to the Mendocino County line in the south. The area has a total population of near 15,000 people. We have a unique climate with inland temperatures that can reach 100 in the day while dropping to 50 at night with the Pacific Coastal influence. Our summers have a very low humidity making a warm day comfortable.

Come enjoy the beautiful rural setting, some great music, good food, and family fun in a wonderful climate as we lift up the name of Jesus for all to hear.
