When, where and at what time?!
When: Saturday, July 23th 2011AD
Where: Benbow Lake State Park right off Highway 101 in beautiful Humboldt County . Just a mile south of Garberville, Ca. This site is easy to find and simply gorgeous! The stage is nestled between The Eel River and beautiful redwoods!
What time: It is an all day event. 10:00AM
How do I get to Benbow?
Jesus Rocks the Redwoods is easy to find right off of highway 101. It is an hour south of Eureka and 90 miles north of Ukiah. It is just a few minutes away from Grocery stores, hospital, sheriff, CHP, hotels, gas, and other amenities in Redway and Garberville. Garberville is 1 mile to the north and Redway is only 4 miles to the north. Check out the map above where you can get directions.
Do I need tickets to get into Jesus Rocks The Redwoods?
Short answer – no. long answer – nope. This is a free access event while there will be some vendors with merchandise, food, and beverages and some attractions that you will want to have money for. You will be able to listen to some excellent music and enjoy the day without paying an entrance fee. Bring your friends! They will not have to pay to enter the event!
What is the earliest time that I can arrive to Jesus Rocks The Redwoods?
9:00AM please respect this and allow vendors and artists to prepare ahead of you. The event program will start at 10:00AM.
What is the parking situation? Will there be disabled parking available?
Yes! There will be easy access on site parking for our handicapped guests. There will be off site parking that is an easy, comfortable, short walk to the event.

What is the seating like?
There is a lovely grassy area with lots of room for blankets and chairs. There will be few chairs available so please bring your folding or bag chairs and blankets to be comfortable.
Will there be any food available?
Yes! Many local church youth, women’s, and men’s groups will have food and beverage booths. Also other organizations and specific missions will be selling food. The proceeds from the sales of these booths will benefit the specific group and not the event.
Are pets allowed at the festival?
Please leave your pets at home! There will not be provisions at the event for your pets and it would be cruel to leave them in your vehicle. The exception to this will be registered Seeing Eye dogs and these dogs in training. You will be asked to remove any other animals for their own safety and the safety of the event attendees.
Will there be skateboarding allowed at the festival?
No. Sorry, the event is a grassy area with only limited paved areas. These paved areas are reserved for traffic flow and parking only.
Is this an event that young children will enjoy, or just teenagers?
This is a family friendly event! There will be lots of fun for younger children! There will be Bible stories, singing, and fun attractions for you and your young children! Please bring some money as some of these attractions will be very inviting for the young and there will be a fee for some of them. There will be some free booths for the young children. Please do not leave your teenagers at home! This will be an exciting day for them! Young children must be supervised by a parent or other adult at all times.
Are there hotels or camp grounds nearby in to spend the night?

Is there any venue to go to church on the following Sunday morning?
One of the results of our goal to bring people to Christ in our community would be to fill the church buildings! There will be a list of local churches with the times of and directions to their worship services, available at the event.
Can we bring outside food or drinks into the festival?
While food from your home is not forbidden there will be some great food available that you will not want to miss! You are asked to bring only plastic containers for your beverages. Please no glass! Any beverages in recyclable containers should be disposed of in the provided recycling bins.
There will be NO ALCOHOL at this event!
There will be NO ALCOHOL for sale or allowed at this event. Any alcohol discovered will be confiscated and disposed of; it will not be returned to you.

Is there a curfew?
Yes.
Am I allowed to distribute flyers or information about my organization, band, or ministry at the festival?
Any unauthorized distribution within the event grounds is forbidden! All distribution of any kind must be approved by the administration of Jesus Rocks the Redwoods. Many of our vendors have paid money for booth space to do this. Also, it is our responsibility to assure that the information distributed at the festival is Biblically accurate and in accordance with our ministry goals.
