The book of 1 Peter is the first of two letters that the Aposple Peter wrote to his fellow believers in Asia.  In this letter, Peter stresses holy living as the best way to endure the trials of living in this world.  He also emphasizes the "temporary" nature of the believers' stay here in on earth, and he encourages us to keep focusing on the heavenly inheritance wating for all of us when we enter eternity ...

the word of God

The Bible, the Word of GOD, is unlike any other book that we can have ... it is powerful and living!  The only Book that can really transform lives for good!

All Scriptures were given through the inspiration of GOD for:

Teaching - it provides us with the true information.

Reproofing - it guides us with our wrong way of thinking.

Correcting - it corrects our character flaws.

Training - it instructs us into righteousness.

Most of all, it is our Creator's love letter to all of us ... to assure us of His enduring love, promises, grace and mercy!
